My current work is a family picture. The photo was taken in our garden, specifically for the purpose of painting it on canvas afterwards. I started in October 2014 by tracing light and dark parts of the photo onto tracing paper using a light box and outlining them. This image made up of lines was then multiplied and transferred to the canvas using a projector. I then traced these lines onto the canvas and began colouring the individual areas as a primer and finally with the final colour layer.
